Shop Sales Like a Ninja

Don't let the big red SALE sign trap you in the the "this could work if" bobbie trap.  Approach a killer end of season sale knowing what you are actually looking for.  If you did not pull the trigger on the high waisted plaid trousers this season because they did not fit your budget but would look amazing on your "legs for days" body, by all means GO FOR IT.  If this trend really wasn't for you, then sorry girlfriend this trend, at 65% off, is still not for you.  Don't dispair the high waisted skinny straight leg jeans are screaming your name and are also sale.

When hitting up the online wine and retail therapy sale, stay focused.  Cruise your favorite sites.  Look over "what's new" for inspiration. Then head to SALE and start by filtering for your dress, shoe and jean size.  When you find something you have to have, look at the details for care instructions (bonus points if you can hand wash). The size and fit section can save you a lot of heart ache if you are aware of your own beautiful curves.  Often the model's measurements are included with no shaming intended.  Realize that she is 5'10" and has all those extra inches in her torso or her legs.  Imagine where the waist and hem would hit on your figure and use the garment's shoulder to hem measurement or inseam measurement as a guide.

The "you may also like" tickler at the bottom most likely lists non sale items, but look anyway.  You may see something similar that would be just as fabulous as you continue through the sale items. Now is also a good time to update your go to's.  If you never met a white blouse you didn't love, experiment with something white AND little more fun - it's on sale so go a little crazy with an interesting detail or cut.

Finally be sure to read the return policy.  Sale items often have a different return  and exchange policy.  Be aware of  return shipment accepted dates, refund guidelines, and return shipping charges.  Empower your shopping Ninja to avoid a closet of never worn bargains and select the BUY NOW button with confidence.
